Luggage

• Travel bags should be loaded and pressed into corners of the car
  >> remember that you’ll have to continually search for objects in them
• Put your bags in spots that are easily accessible
  >> objects that are easy to find save time and energy
• Wrap and cover your luggage in garbage bags
  >> prevents dust and splash water
• Bags should have certain distinctive signs to make them easy to identify
  >> helps to find the right item at the baggage carousel
• Bags fitted additional with luggage straps and locks
  >> added security

 Money

• In Puerto Princesa there are banks with ATM
• Master/ Visa are no problem – monthly limit should be considered
• EC/EFTPOS are not generally recognized
• In our resort cash only
• Store cash in different places
  

Security

• Travel body bags (to be worn underneath clothing)
  >> are well suited for passports, driving licenses, bank notes
• Scan important documents in advance and send them to yourself by mail
  >> everyone has access to copies at internet cafes

 Haelth

• Hepatitis A vaccination
• Current Polio vaccine
• Current Tetanus vaccination
• It is advised to carry Malaria tablets (Malerone)
  >> especialy in the rain time / contact a doctor
• Vitamin B tablets should be taken against moscitos
• Vitamin C tablets are recommended
• Mosquito repellent (NoBite) for body and textiles
• Zinkoxid against sandflies

Cell phone

• Mobile network with radio antenna only
  
• Weak signal in rain time
• Resorts normally have WiFi (4G) – but not stable everytime
  

Documents

• Passport must be valid for 6 months
• Re-entry stamp should be checked immediately
  >> longest period of stay is 30 days without visa
• International Driving Permit is recommended
  >> as it is required at road checks
